Farmington Youth Football

Welcome to the Farmington Youth Football Registration 2024!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from FYFA Football. 

Registration will close on June 30th (late registrations MAY be accepted but no practice pack will be given to late registered players as practice pack order will be placed on the morning of 7/1 to ensure a timely delivery)

START DATE: MONDAY, August 5th

END DATE: 2nd-4th Grade October 5th and 5th-8th October 12th

Equipment Handout will be before will be July 9th at Boeckman Middle school (in the main hallway).  We encourage as many boys to show up on this day as possible, however, there will be another date if this date does not work.

Payment plan option.  

2nd and 3rd Grade- $200 total -Payment Plan Option $100 at time of registration, $50 due 6/30/24, $50 due 7/30/24

4th through 8th Grade - $250 total - Payment Plan Option $100 at time of registration, $75 due 6/30/24, $75 due 7/30/24

$300 Equipment Deposit Check and $175 Volunteer Check will also be required for ALL grades and will be collected at equipment handout. Dibs credits will be 2 credits per player, a $125 buyout is available during registration process.

Registration fee includes at least 8 games with officials, weekday practices, practice pack if registered on or before 6/30 (T-shirt and shorts at size you indicate below) and use of equipment.

**All equipment with the exception of girdle, cleats and mouth guard are provided to 2nd-8th grade players.  A $300 equipment deposit check and $175 volunteer check will both be required at the time of equipment and jersey check-out.  If either check is not turned in at the time of check-out, equipment and jersey will not be disbursed.  The Equipment Deposit check will not be cashed if all equipment and jersey is turned in at end of season in reusable condition.  The Volunteer check will not be cashed if the volunteer requirement is met.  We will be offering a dibs buyout of $125 for the season (select later in the registration process).

TEAM SELECTION:

Each grade will practice together the first week.  Coaches will meet that following weekend with FYFA Board members to form the teams.  All teams play in the South Suburban Youth Football League, which requires balanced teams if there are more than one team at an age level. If for some reason your player cannot attend the first week of practice, please contact farmingtonyouthfb@gmail.com as soon as possible.

The Farmington Youth Football Association will feature:

• 2nd/3rd Grade will play Padded Flag using the Tackle Bar system to learn proper technique, USA Football Rookie League Rules, reduced player and field size. 
•  4th Grade transitioning to play tackle football. The first three games of the season will use the Tackle Bar system and the remainder of the season will be tackle.  
• 5th Grade transitioning to tackle football under USA Football Rookie League Rules with reduced players on the field.
• Grade specific tackle football teams at 6th-8th Grade (no combined grade teams) with 11-players and regulation sized field.
• All Coaches certified by USA Heads Up Football and Trusted Coaches (includes Concussion and Child Safety certificates) and Background checks.
• FHS Base Formations, Plays & Cadences taught in a progressive learning environment.
• FHS Coaches and FHS Athletes volunteering as available to support the youth program.

Farmington Football has partnered with CA Gear in Rosemount for apparel, perfect for youth or adults to wear to youth or High School games!

First store opening 5/1 and closing on 5/10 for arrival week of June 10th.  A second store will open the end of June with a later delivery date.
